Top 5 games to play after work

Have you ever come home from work, your tired you want to just chill out and play a video game? Well, I am going to give you my top 5 best games to play after coming home from work. There will be some games that should be on this list that will be left out. So here we go.

1: The Uncharted series.

This series is probably one of the best franchises in PlayStation history and each game is really short. The first three games are overall 30 hours long, average 10 hours each game. Uncharted 4 takes 15 hours to complete, with the DLC Lost Legacy taking just 7 hours to complete. These are a joy to play and you could easily sit back, play a chapter of these 12 chapters Indiana Jones type stories and relax.

2: Fortnite/Apex Legends/ PUBG.

The era of the battle royale. Since 2017, games like PUBG and Fortnite have garnered huge popularity and success and created a new genre in gaming. These are quick to get into and how long the games are, depend on long you can live. The three games are so much different to each other. PUBG is a military sim battle royale, while Fortnite is more of an arcade type game,  Apex Legends is a bit of both.

3: Telltale The Walking Dead

I have to be honest; I actually think the Walking Dead series is pretty damn good. The games tell a pretty good story over  five or six games, despite it choices having not a huge impact on the story. The episodes take possibly two to three hours to finish or you can stop the episode at any certain point and play again in the future.

4: Tomb Raider (2013)

This is the first game, where I have only picked one title and not the whole trilogy. The reason for this is pretty simple, I played the second one and didn’t enjoy it and haven’t yet gotten around to playing the third. The first one, to me is a masterpiece.

The game is a reboot of the franchise and Crystal Dynamic did a magnificent job with the game. It tells a fantastic story about the origins of Lara Croft becoming well Lara Croft and the game play is good as well. It’s a short game that takes about eleven hours to complete.

FIFA is at the bottom of the list for one simple reason, not everybody plays sports games. The people, who do, however, will have a short fun experience with this game. You can play a match with friend’s online, play through your own career as a certain team or as Alex Hunter. There even the option of Ultimate Team, this game provides so many options and you can simple play a quick session of ten to fifteen minutes and get off again.

I know I have left off, many titles, so please leave a comment on whatever you think should be on this list
